Tutorial 9 - SWOT Analysis
The SWOT analysis gives us an overview of our strength and weakness for the business. This allows us to know our weakness well so that we will not commit the same problem for the future projects. It also shows the threat so that we will be able to overcome or reduce it next time. The SWOT also states our strength and opportunities in our business so that we are clear of what is good, focus in our opportunities.
Tutorial 8 - Project closure
- Identify the group to take-over the project
There will be a meeting for the project closure which will be held at the Sentosa conference room. We will be returning the place to sentosa, return rented booths and handover the revenue to the finance department
- The final date for handover
Start at 1st august end 31st august
Final date of handover 6th september
- Schedule of meeting for handover
31st august
- Outstanding items not completed
The left-over items will be donated to the less fortunate homes.
- Identify responsible party to undertake the project
The success of the project will be shown in the closure which will be handed back to the Sentosa management corporate team
- Preparation of documents and drawings
Paperwork for the closure will be inclusive of the cost savings and outstanding works or issues. We will be conducting a survey to all the customers and the staffs of Sentosa in opening the next flea market
- Clearance on any risk management
If we didn’t manage to hire sufficient workers, we can reduce the impact by offering the job to students and by lowering the operating hours. We can rent the venue at higher probability at Sentosa by booking earlier or if we failed to rent the place, we can change to other venue.

At the project closure, it shows the success of our project, and we will handover everything to Sentosa. We will also know what documents we need to prepare for the handover and how to manage the items which are left, which is to donate to less fortunate homes. We will also set a final date for the handover which marks the end of our project.

The above picture shows all of our costs and spendings. From there, we calculate our Cost benefit, breakeven quantity and ROI to see how much we earned.

Tutorial 6
By having a cost table for our project, we can know the amount of money we will need for this project and set a budget so that we will not overspend. We will also be clear of how much money for each different uses.

Tutorial 5 - Risk Management
This is the Risk Management of our project. We listed out some risk that might affect our project and rank them accordingly in a table. It is easier to know what might happen and hence knowing what to do about it if it really happens. This will result in a more efficient work and lower chance of failing.

Tutorial 4
We did the AON for our project. It gives us a clearer picture of the datelines and duration for each task given. However, it's quite confusing in the calculations and predecessors.
We did the Gantt chart using Microsoft Project. It is quite complicated to use using this software though. I would prefer drawing it out on a paper.
